The Regional Government of Madeira has passed the eco-tax. The eco-tax is a tourist tax of €1 per person per day which will be applied to all guests 18 years and older. Guests staying longer than 5 days will only pay the eco-tax for the first 5 days. The eco-tax will be paid directly at the hotel on the day of arrival.

This Tourist Tax will not be applied as of 02/01/2017 and will take effect again on 01/05/2017.
